Takumi Voss is a German-Japanese photographer and artist based in London, UK, working across both professional and artistic practices while currently studying Photography at the London College of Communication (UAL). His work is shaped by a combination of commercial experience, academic research, and conceptual exploration, bridging contemporary visual culture with critical artistic inquiry.
Takumi has developed experience in freelance photography and digital media, directing and producing visual content across commercial and editorial contexts. His background in social media and video production informs his sensitivity to image circulation and audience engagement, further shaping his approach to visual storytelling.
Drawing from his dual heritage, he explores identity as fluid and evolving, informed by shifting cultural and personal contexts. His practice engages with themes of belonging, consciousness and materiality, often examining the tension between the visible and the intangible. Through this approach, he investigates how perception is constructed and how meaning emerges through ambiguity and transformation.
